Terms and Conditions

Asterisk is a brand of Asterisk Apparel Pvt. Ltd. When you visit our website or buy something from our store, you agree to terms set out in this agreement. We reserve the right to change terms set in this agreement as and when deemed necessary . When we do so, we will update this page and mark the date when updates were made.

General Conditions

You may not use our products to conduct any illegal or unauthorized activity that violates laws in your jurisdiction. Or display our products in a scenario that portrays the above.

You may not reproduce or copy our product, marketing, copy writing, images, video and packaging. You may resell our product only if we authorize you.

We reserve the right to refuse orders you place with us. This could be due to limited inventory, lack of logistics support in your location or payment issues raised from our payment gateway providers.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store.

Pricing

We price our products with a lot of thought and rarely change them. On occasions when we need to, we reserve the right to update our product prices or discontinue them based on our own discretion. When we update a product's price, this website will clearly reflect the current price of the product. Discontinued products may no longer appear on the website.

Color

We make every effort to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible. However, as computer monitors, tablets and mobile devices vary, there is a chance the final product might vary a bit.

Delivery and Shipping

We offer shipping to most locations in India.

We usually try to dispatch products within one business day from the time your order is placed. There is a nominal charge for shipping orders below ₹650. We will notify you of the estimated shipping time on the website before you place your order.

In case of incorrect or incomplete addresses mentioned, we will not be responsible for non delivery of order.

If you reject a confirmed COD order, we will be unable to serve you in the future.

Due to external factors, shipping time is not guaranteed but we do try our best to keep our delivery time between 5 - 7 days.

Gift cards and Rewards

Gift card and reward credit may be issued only directly from us. The recipient will receive an email notification containing a unique code. Each gift card has a balance, which when used during checkout, applies a credit towards the final purchase. This code is meant for the recipient only and should not be shared. The gift card is usable only on purchases made on our store and valid for one year from date of issue.

We reserve the right to cancel issued gift cards if the system is used for spam or abuse.

Returns and Exchanges

We offer product exchanges and returns within 15 calendar days from the date you receive your order. A return order will be ineligible for exchange or refund if it is done beyond the 15 calendar day period, or if it is used or washed.

If we receive an in-bound shipment for an ineligible return, goods will be recycled or discarded without notice. No exchanges or refunds will be applicable and an additional service fee may be charged. If you send an unauthorized in-bound shipment, we will be unable to serve you in the future.

All refunds will be made to the original mode of payment, except for Cash on Delivery orders. COD orders will be refunded to the customers bank account or store credit, as the customer wishes.

For COD orders, the refund will be issued after deducting the COD handling fee for both to and fro transport.

If you discover a manufacturing defect with a product you bought from our store, please send us an email at hello@asterisks.in from the email you placed the order with. As a small business, we can not sustain and accept standard and defective product requests beyond 15 calendar days.

Third-party websites

Certain content on our store may link to third-party websites like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook that are not affiliated with us. Please review carefully the third-party's policies and practices and make sure you understand them before you engage in any transaction.

Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless Asterisk Apparel Pvt. Ltd., our subsidiaries, employees and suppliers, from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Privacy Policy

Hosting

We host the website and back end ERP systems on reliable, well tested, cloud infrastructure that is regularly monitored and backed up. All traffic between your browser and our servers is sent over HTTPS.

Collecting Data

When you buy a product from us, we store your name, address, contact and purchase information. We may use this information to fulfill your order, occasionally send you marketing email, and improve the user experience. All marketing communication will contain an opt-out link to unsubscribe. Please note that we do not store your payment credentials.

Sharing Data

We may share your personal information when required by law to do so or to protect our rights if our Terms of Service are suspected to be violated.

Payments

We never store your payment credentials on our servers. Credit card and authorization service is provided by third-party payment gateways and banks who adhere to standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for analytics, payment gateways and social media. Such providers have their own terms and privacy policies. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
